This retreat is designed for real people with real lives, whether you're a complete beginner or have been meditating for years.

Before the retreat, you'll be asked to watch a how-to video and read a small amount of material. By understanding what you'll be doing during the retreat, you'll get the most out of your time. The goal is to give you as much time to meditate as possible, while also allowing time for group and individual discussions.

3 Day Zoom Schedule

DAY 1: Friday evening

  • Group meetup, review the meditation how-to instructions if needed, time for questions and answers about Tranquil Mind
  • Setup time slots for individual interviews - which typically run about 10-15 minutes
  • Remainder of the evening sitting and/or walking meditation

DAY 2: Saturday

  • Sitting and/or walking meditation at your own pace
  • Early afternoon group meeting, Q&A
  • One on one interviews
  • Remainder of the day sitting and/or walking meditation

DAY 3: Sunday

  • Sitting and/or walking meditation at your own pace
  • Early afternoon group meeting, Q&A
  • One on one interviews
  • Remainder of the day sitting and/or walking meditation
  • Sunday evening - group get together and closing of the retreat
  • Remainder of the evening sitting and/or walking meditation

Throughout all three days:

  • Flexible break times between sessions
  • Time to rest and integrate your experiences
  • Opportunities for self-practice at your own pace
  • Access to Tranquil Mind guides

After the retreat:

  • You'll continue to have access to your teacher, and/or any of the Tranquil Mind guides.
  • If you'd like, recieve on-going support to help keep your meditation practice going
  • Attend group get togethers with like minded individuals

Do I need meditation experience?
Absolutely not. We welcome complete beginners and experienced meditators alike. The instructions are clear and accessible to everyone.

What if I miss a session?
Life happens. While attending all sessions gives you the best experience, we understand emergencies come up. Contact your teacher if you need to miss something.

Can I work during the retreat?
The retreat is designed to fit into your life, but you'll get the most benefit if you can minimize other commitments during these three days. We recommend treating it as dedicated "retreat time" as much as possible.

What time are the sessions?
Session times are announced when you register. We offer retreats at various times to accommodate different time zones and schedules.

Can I participate from outside the US?
Absolutely! We've had participants from around the world. As long as you have internet access, you can join.

What happens after the retreat?
You'll receive guidance on continuing your daily practice if you want. Ongoing support includes optional weekly check-ins with teachers, access to our online community, and resources for deepening your practice. We're available as much or as little as you'd lik
